OPEN HOUSE TIPS
Here a few simple things you can do to help your home show at its best. Please refer to the "Before We Arrive" photoshoot checklist for additional suggestions.
INSIDE
- Keep the rooms bright by opening up all drapes and window coverings.
- Make sure windows and mirrors are clean.
- Leave a large door mat by the front door for winter boots.
- Try to keep your home at a pleasant temperature.
- For the comfort of your pet as well as open house guests, it’s best to keep animals in a crate, fenced yard (weather permitting), or to take them with you when you leave before the open house begins.
OUTSIDE
- Make sure snow is cleared and ice is salted/sanded on the driveway and pathway.
- If you're looking to go full out®, fresh flowers can add a nice touch.
- Soft music playing in the background can set a nice atmosphere.
- If you have a working fireplace, turn it on.
