OPEN HOUSE TIPS
Here a few simple things you can do to help your home show at its best. Please refer to the "Open House Tips" checklist for additional suggestions.
INSIDE YOUR HOME
- Turn ON all lighting
- Ceiling fans turn OFF
- Toilet lids down
- Blinds/shades same height level
- Clear clutter
- Hide towels & rags on appliances
- Remove magnets from refrigerator
- Remove items from the top of the fridge
- Leave instructions if you have a gas fireplace and it’s not operated by a switch
- Close all windows
- Hide paper towel, sponges, so ap dispensers, etc
- Hide any personal belongings
- Hide trash cans
- Hide shoes
- Hide remotes
- Turn OFF TVs & Monitors
- Remove pets & pet items
- Remove coats and bags from coat racks and hooks (unless stager has suggested otherwise)
- Remove items from under the bed if they are visible
- Ensure beds are made well
OUTSIDE YOUR HOME
- Remove cars from driveway or away from the front of the house
- Remove hot tub cover - Only do so if the hot tub is operational and filled with water
- Remove cars, trailers, boats and basketball nets from the driveway
- Remove toys from the yard (swing sets are ok)
- Remove BBQ cover
- Clear Clutter
- Unlock and Clear Side Gates
- Close garage doors
- Hide garbage bins

Please make sure your home is ready to go before we arrive for your scheduled time, or we may not be able to proceed. please let us know at least 3 hours before your scheduled shoot time if a cancellation is needed.
